Our 5th Annual Fashion Show – What a Celebration!

What an afternoon we had on Saturday 20 September! Our 5th annual fashion show, hosted yet again by John Lewis & Partners in Reading, was nothing short of spectacular and a complete sell-out within days of tickets going on sale.

This year was extra special as we celebrated our 10th anniversary, so it felt only right that 10 of our amazing models took to the catwalk. Every single one of them lives here in Berkshire and has been supported through their cancer journey by My Cancer My Choices. Watching them step out in two fabulous outfits, to music they had personally chosen, was inspiring, emotional and just pure joy.

The energy in the room was some of the best we’ve ever seen. Over 100 friends, family and supporters cheered, clapped and danced along as the models lit up the catwalk. There were so many smiles, a few happy tears, and a real sense of togetherness – it was impossible not to get swept up in it all.

As staff and volunteers, we always feel so blessed to be part of this event. Every year it reminds us how incredible our community is, and how humbling it is to provide this platform for such inspiring people. It’s not just about fashion – it’s about empowerment, celebration and proving what’s possible.

We’re so grateful to John Lewis & Partners Reading for once again going above and beyond to make the day so special, and to everyone who came along and supported us. Together, we’ve not only created unforgettable memories but also raised vital funds to help us continue delivering therapies to people living with cancer across Berkshire.

Here’s to the next one – we can’t wait!
