An evening with Carol Kirkwood, plus brain cancer patient Pablo Lievano

“Carol kindly joined us for the evening to talk about her work on the BBC and Strictly Come Dancing. She was absolutely charming and it was a wonderful start to the year. She was joined by Chris Hollins and they told some very funny stories. A great evening and we managed to raise £12,000 which is our best fundraiser to date. I must thank everyone on the night for their generous support”

Another highlight of the evening was the talk from one of our patients, the inspirational Pablo, about his experience of the charity and how it’s helped him live with brain cancer. See the video here and find out more about Pablo’s journey.

The video was compiled by Pablo and brought together the NHS with national and local charities, including My Cancer My Choices, with the aim of bringing together the support network to better help cancer patients.
