A licence to thrill! Our first ever Casino Night raises £7500 to help support people living with cancer
Themed on the film “Casino Royale”, we were really looking forward to seeing how people dressed for the occasion – and they did not disappoint! The outfits and costumes were a sight to behold. From the 120 attendees, the guests voted as having the best Licence to Thrill outfits were Ian Pogue and Kathryn Riley. They were presented with bottles of 007 Champagne by Jayne – congratulations to them!
The evening was absolutely buzzing – from fun at the casino tables to dancing at the disco, to the live singer, the putting competition and some healthy rival bidding on the auction prizes, it truly was a night to remember. Not least because it raised £7500 – an incredible amount! This will make a real difference to people living with cancer, to whom we can provide calm, care and connection when they need it most.
Massive thanks to everyone who came, helped and contributed, to Dalia Ismail for being our speaker, and to Jayne Trolley and Stuart Rowsell, who made it happen.
