For the second year, My Cancer My Choices has 4 guaranteed Golden Bond Charity places for the 2027 TCS London Marathon, and we’re looking for passionate supporters to join our team.
Please note that TCS London Marathon are considering the possibility of two marathons next year, on the Saturday as well as the Sunday – public ballot entries would be entered for both if that is the case, but would only get a place on one of the days. This is not yet finalised.

What We Ask from You
If we offer you a place, you will:
Commit to raising a minimum of £2,200*, exclusively for My Cancer My Choices
Pay a £150 registration fee (non-refundable)
Meet fundraising deadlines
Train and take part in the London Marathon on Sunday, 25 April 2027
*Excluding Gift Aid

Application Deadline: 31 July 2026
Places Confirmed: Shortly after the public ballot results
1st Fundraising Deadline: £1,100 by 15 January 2027
Final Fundraising Deadline: £2,200 by 25 May 2027
Entering the London Marathon Ballot?
We encourage you to apply for our charity place AND enter the general London Marathon public ballot. General ballot places will be open from Friday 24 April to Friday 1 May 2026. We will keep our applications open until after the results of the public ballot, so if your bid is not successful your application to us can still be considered. If you secure a general ballot place please let us know – you can still run and fundraise for us, as part of the My Cancer My Choices team, doubling our impact!
