We want to thank everyone who came along to the Gala Dinner on Saturday 7^th of January at the Hilton, Reading for being such wonderful guests and making it a such a memorable night.  

It was a sparkling affair from start to finish with welcome drinks and canapés provided by the Hilton Reading team who went on to serve over 230 people a delicious meal and looked after us fabulously all evening.

Our thanks to Phillip Voke supported by his amazing team who hosted the evening and Greg Wilkinson who devised a great game with one lucky winner walking away with dinner, bed and breakfast kindly donated by The French Horn in Sonning.

We are hugely grateful to the Rotary Club of Reading Matins who ran a great raffle and Hilary O’Rourke, who was our wonderful auctioneer on the night.

Gala dinners rely so much on the generous support of local businesses and our supporters and friends.  So many people donated their services and wonderful prizes to help us raise funds on the night so our heartfelt thanks to:

And finally, we really appreciated our guest speaker Martyn Cooper telling his story of how the charity has supported him after his cancer diagnoses.  He had us all laughing and crying in equal measure, and he was humbled by everyone’s support in the room. 

The funds raised on the night will support so many people like Martyn who use our complementary therapy service to support their wellbeing as they go through cancer and its treatment.
