 Participants can choose between 2 routes:

• 30K – for cyclists aged 12 years and above, enjoy this circular route that is predominantly off-road along some lovely canal paths through Reading, out to Theale, Sulham and back to Thames Valley Park. £20 entry plus Eventbrite fee
• 5k – for cyclists aged 6 years and above, enjoy this off-road route along the River Thames and through the wetland ponds and nature reserve around Thames Valley Park, Reading. You can also choose to walk or run the 5K route. £5 entry plus Eventbrite fee

This is a non-competitive, fun, social charity event.

TIMINGS

Signing in from 9.00am

9.30am – 30k route starts – Cyclists will leave in guided groups along this marshaled route which will take approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on fitness levels.

10.00am – 5k route starts – Cyclists will set off to follow this marked route with marshals at key points. You can choose to run or walk the 5k route again if you want to do 10k!

Approx. 10.30am – 5k walk or run starts when 5k cyclists are back

Please note the routes are not suitable for road bikes, an off-road bike is highly recommended. All participants must be aged 6 years or older. Anyone aged 6 to 11 years old must be accompanied by an adult to take part. Anyone aged 12 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult to cycle the 30k route. Anyone aged 16 or 17 must have written permission from an adult to take part in the 30k route.

Funds raised will go towards the complementary therapies that My Cancer My Choices provide for free to support people going through cancer.

Afterwards we would like to invite you to stay and have a picnic with us. Refreshments will be available to purchase, but please bring your own picnic.

Bike maintenance will be available on the day, provided by AW Cycles, Caversham.
